In 2025 I competed in the WorldSkills UK Cyber Security competition, where I reached the national finals. After the competition I was
invited to become a WorldSkills UK Skills Champion, helping promote Worlds Skills UK and cybersecurity and encourage more people to explore the field and compete.
Academically, I completed my BSc in Applied Computing with First Class Honours, and in September I’ll be starting an MSc in Information Security at UCL, where I hope
to deepen my understanding of security, systems, and the constantly evolving threat landscape
I’m particularly interested in blue-team work — detection, monitoring, incident response, and understanding attacker behaviour. Recently I’ve also started exploring cloud security, and earned the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification as a starting point. Outside of cybersecurity, I enjoy photography, philosophy, and long walks. I like ideas, quiet observation, and the kind of curiosity that makes you ask “why does this work the way it does?”
Experience monitoring and analysing security events using SIEM tools such as Wazuh. Capable of identifying suspicious activity, investigating alerts, and improving detection rules.
Skilled in analysing network traffic using Wireshark and identifying malicious patterns. Hands-on experience with IDS/IPS tools like Snort and firewall configuration using pfSense.
Performed dynamic malware analysis in sandbox environments using tools such as Sysmon, Procmon, and Regshot. Able to investigate system behaviour and support incident response workflows.
Conducted vulnerability scanning and exploitation using tools like Nmap, Metasploit, Openvas and Burp Suite. Focused on identifying weaknesses and applying remediation strategies.
